We bring you last week's top performances from Central Africans who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level. This week's number one is former international swingman Romain Sato (194-81), who plays in Turkey. He could not help Fenerbahce Ulker (7-16) in their last game. Despite Sato's good performance the seventh-placed Fenerbahce Ulker lost 73-78 on the road to the higher-ranked (#3) Olympiacos in the group F of Euroleague.

We bring you last week's top performances from Central Africans who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.
#1. This week's number one is former international swingman Romain Sato (194-81, college: Xavier, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Turkey. He could not help Fenerbahce Ulker (7-16) in their last game. Despite Sato's good performance the seventh-placed Fenerbahce Ulker lost 73-78 on the road to the higher-ranked (#3) Olympiacos in the group F of Euroleague.
He recorded 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in a mere 15 minutes on the court.
It was Fenerbahce Ulker's sixth consecutive loss in a row.
Sato's team will play only one more game in the Euroleague Top 16. And that game will be critical.
This year Sato averages: 7.7ppg, 4.2rpg, 1.4apg, 2FGP: 45.9%, 3FGP: 34.1% and FT: 81.0% in the 22 games he played so far.
He played for the Central African senior national team two years ago.
#2. Second place goes to former international point guard Michael Mokongo (180-86, currently plays in Cyprus), who plays in the Cypriot Division A. Mokongo was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Apoel (18-13) in their last game on Tuesday. Despite his good performance Apoel was defeated 78-70 in Larnaca by the higher-ranked AEK (#3).
Mokongo recorded 10 points.
Mokongo's overall stats this season are: 7.8ppg, 3.4rpg, 2.8apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 53.0% and FT: 66.7%.
He has a dual citizenship: Central African and French.
Despite Mokongo played previously for the French U20 national team, he played also for the Central African national team in 2011.
#3. The Central African player who performed third best last week abroad was an experienced former international forward Maxime Zianveni (198-79, currently plays in France). Zianveni managed to help Strasbourg IG in a victory against the league outsider Boulazac Basket (7-18) crushing them 100-68 in the French ProA on Saturday night.
He recorded only 4 points in 10 minutes.
Strasbourg IG (17-8) is placed second in the ProA.
This year Zianveni's overall stats are: 4.2ppg, 2.8rpg, 2FGP: 53.8% and FT: 65.0% in the 13 games.
He is another player who holds two passports: Central African and French.
Zianveni played for the Central African national team two years ago.
#4. Forward Max Kouguere (198-87, currently plays in France) was not able to secure a victory for STB Le Havre (12-3) in their game against Le Mans (15-10) in the French ProA.
He recorded 6 points.
STB Le Havre was defeated 86-73 in Le Mans by the higher-ranked Le Mans (#4).
Kouguere has relatively good stats this season: 11.2ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.1apg.
He has both Congolese and Central African nationalities.
Kouguere used to play for the Central African national team
back in 2011.

He had a double-double by scoring 10 points and getting the same number of rebounds in 36 minutes on the court.
It was Fenerbahce Ulker's first loss after four consecutive victories.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
This year Sato averages: 5.6ppg, 3.6rpg, 2FGP: 57.1%, 3FGP: 33.3% in the five games he played so far.
He played for the Central African senior national team one years ago.

Despite his good performance Strasbourg IG was defeated 80-70 on the opponent's court by the much lower-ranked Poitiers (#11).
Zianveni scored 10 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
But the season just started, so everything may happen.
Zianveni's overall stats this year are: 6.8ppg, 4.3rpg, 2FGP: 59.3%(16-27) and FT: 64.3%.
He has a dual citizenship: Central African and French.
Zianveni played for the Central African national team in 2011.
#3. The Central African player who performed third best last week abroad was an international forward Max Kouguere (198-87, currently plays in France). He was not able to secure a victory for STB Le Havre (2-4) in their game against JDA Dijon (3-3) in the French ProA, despite his very good performance on Saturday night.
Kouguere scored 13 points in 22 minutes.
But STB Le Havre lost 73-77 in JDA Dijon to the higher-ranked (#9) JDA Dijon.
It was STB Le Havre's fourth consecutive loss in a row.
But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen.
It's Kouguere's first year with the team.
He has relatively good stats this season: 11.8ppg, 3.7rpg, 2FGP: 59.5%(25-42), 3FGP: 19.4% and FT: 75.0% in the six games.
Kouguere is another player who holds two passports: Congolese and Central African.
He played for the Central African national team one years ago.
#4. Point guard Michael Mokongo (180-86, currently plays in Cyprus) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked ENAD (1-1) crushing them 80-59 in a derby game in the Cypriot Division A in Friday night's game.
Mokongo scored 8 points, had 6 boards, passed 4 assists and added 3 steals.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Cytavision Apoel Nicosia (2-1) is placed second in the Division A.
But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go.
Mokongo belongs to league's most steals and is ranked #5.
He has very reliable stats this season: 11.7ppg, 4.7rpg, 2.3apg and 2.3spg.
Mokongo has both Central African and French nationalities.
Despite he played previously for the French U20 national team, Mokongo is currently in the Central African national team roster.

Max Kouguere (198-F-87) joined Central African National Team and he will play in 2013 AfroBasket Qualifications, Zone 4. The player left preparations of Le Havre and will be back few days before the season opener. Kouguere penned a deal with Le Havre earlier this summer. He arrived from Le Mans, with whom he reached ProA and Semaine des As Finals last season. The player had 3.5 ppg and 1.3 rpg for 35 ProA games. In the past, Max Kouguere played for Antibes, Gravelines and InterClub Brazaville. He played for the Central African NT at 2009 AfroBasket in Libya and 2011 AfroBasket in Madagascar. In the latest one he had 10 ppg and 4.5 rpg for 6 games.
