Maxence Dadiet (192-PG-1999) paced Cote d'Ivoire past Central African Republic at the 2023 World Cup Qualifiers. He nailed 19 points as his team celebrated a 73-63 win.
Central African Republic started with a 19-16 run and added a narrow 16-14 rally in the second period. The home side meanwhile replied with a 24-11 surge in the third quarter and closed the game with a final 19-17 rally.
Vafessa Fofana (198-F/G-1992) and Guy Landry Edi (202-F/G-1988, college: Gonzaga) netted 9 points each, whilst Matt Costello (208-C/F-1993, college: Michigan St.) scored 8. Johan Grebongo (203-F/C-1994) ended up with 17 points in defeat and Thierry Darlan (198-PG-2004) notched 14.
