Central African Republic - Cameroon 49:67

Cameroon overcame Central African Republic 67-49 in the opener of the AfroCan Qualifications. Cameroon started with a 14-5 surge and never looked behind after. Moreover, they closed the game with a final 18-16 run to seal the win.
Cedric Kenfack top-scored for the winners with 10 points, while Jean Nguepy netted 9. Etienne Kalume followed the with 8 points in the winning effort. Elie Dondon (193-G-1994, college: Keyano) replied with 9 points in a loss.
