Zalgiris keep Hayes for another season

Kevarrius Hayes

B.C. Zalgiris Kaunas (LKL) re-signed 27-year old American (has also Central Africa passport) 206cm center Kevarrius Hayes (college: Florida) for new season. He has played there for the last two seasons. He helped them to win the cup and make to league final. Good season as he was voted League Player of the Week. Hayes played 34 games in Euroleague where he averaged 5.6ppg and 4.0rpg last season.
He is a very experienced player. Hayes has played professionally in France (ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne Basket), Italy (Cantu), Turkey (Bursaspor), and the NBA Summer League (Denver Nuggets).
He won the Lithuanian League championship title in 2023. He was selected to Afrobasket.com All-FIBA AfroBasket Honorable Mention in 2021.
Hayes graduated from the University of Florida in 2019, and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
