SLAC advances to 2023 Basketball Africa League Regular Season

SLAC advanced to 2023 Basketball Africa League Season as they defeated Bangui 69-61 in the semifinal game. Seydou Legacy Atlhetique Club started the game with a 20-14 run and added a narrow 14-13 rally in the second period. Both teams nailed 18 points each in the third quarter, whilst SLAC closed the game with a final 17-16 rally.
Mike Poole (196-F-1992, college: Iona) top-scored for the winners with 19 points, whilst Dane Miller (203-PF-1990, college: Rutgers) and Ibrahim Fofana (196-PG-1998) nailed 16 each. Kendall Gray (208-C-1992, college: Delaware St.) replied with 15 points and massive 20 rebounds, whilst Rolly Nganga netted 13.
