Kevarrius Hayes (ex Bursaspor) agreed terms with Zalgiris

B.C. Zalgiris Kaunas (LKL) strengthened their roster with addition of 25-year old American (has also Central African passport) 206cm center Kevarrius Hayes (college: Florida) for season 2022-2023. Hayes played most recently at Bursaspor in Turkish BSL league. In 31 games he recorded 9.7ppg, 6.1rpg and 1.4bpg last season. He also played 22 games in Eurocup where he averaged 9.0ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.2apg, 1.5spg and 1.1bpg. The last season he played at ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne Basket in French Betclic ELITE ProA. In 31 games he had 5.1ppg and 2.8rpg in 2020-2021 season. Hayes helped them to win the league title and the cup. He also played 20 games in Euroleague where he got just 3.0ppg and 2.6rpg. Hayes has been regularly called to Central African Senior National Team since 2020.
He has played also professionally in Italy (Cantu).
Hayes graduated from University of Florida in 2019 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball.
