South Sudan eased past Mali in Dakar at the second day of the 2025 AfroBasket Qualifiers. South Sudan improved to a 2-0 record after an 85-60 win. Trailing 4 points at the end of the first quarter, South Sudan grabbed control in the rest of the game. They won three other quarters to seal the win.
Kuany Kuany (210-F-2000, college: VCU) top-scored for the winners with 17 points and Dhieu Abwok (196-G-2001, college: UTSA) Deing had 13. Tamandjan Konate (199-F-2002) answered with 15 points in defeat.
