Guinea - Tunisia 78-85 OT

Tunisia needed overtime to beat Guinea at the 2025 African Qualifiers. They pulled a 12-5 run in extra time to seal an 85-78 win. Tunisia started better and posted two narrow wins in the first half for a 37-29 halftime advantage. Moreover, the hosts won the third quarter 19-18, whilst Guinea tied it all at 73-73 after 40 minutes in the game. Jawhar Jawadi (189-F-1997) and Oussama Marnaoui secured the win for Tunisia in overtime to go for a 2-0 record.
Omar Abada (189-PG-1993) top-scored for the winners with 21 points and Jawhar Jawadi netted 15. Cheick Conde replied with 21 points in defeat, whilst Cedric Mansare (197-F-1985) and Shannon Evans II (185-PG-1994, college: Arizona St.) had 15 each.
