Egypt - Guinea 78:86

Guinea surprised Egypt in the biggest history of AfroBasket. Guinea celebrated an 86-78 win and they have also moved closer to reaching the qualification round for the AfroBasket 2021 Quarter-Finals.
Guinea erupted with a 28-15 surge at the start and led 13 points at the halftime. Egypt tried to recover in the second half and posted two narrow wins. It was not however enough to catch up with the opponents. Cedric Mansare (198-F-85) top-scored for the winners with 25 points and Cheick Sekou Conde (203-F-92, agency: BIG) netted 16. Ehab Saleh replied with 21 points in a loss and Amr Abdelhalim (192-G-91) brought 15.
