Mali - Cote d'Ivoire 67-90

Cote d'Ivoire recorded the second straight win in Kigali. They beat Mali today to improve at 2-0 record in Group C. Matt Costello (206-C/F-93, college: Michigan St.) stepped up with 25 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge.
Cote d'Ivoire set the tone early in the game. They registered a 27-14 lead after the opening quarter. Cote d'Ivoire followed with a 22-14 run in the second frame to ensure a 49-28 halftime lead. They kept Mali at distance throughout the third term. Cote d'Ivoire piled up a comfortable 26-point lead at the final break and never looked back en route to the win. Souleyman Diabate (183-PG-87, agency: Interperformances) produced 15 points in the victory. Siriman Kanoute (181-PG-01) answered with 19 points for Mali.
