Uganda - Cameroon 80:66

Uganda achieve their first win ever at AfroBasket as they beat Cameroon 80:66. Uganda started with a 27-22 win at the start and added a 17-11 rally in the second frame. Moreover, Uganda scored 18 points in the third and then the last stanzas for the final success.
Adam Seiko (190-G-98) stepped up with 20 points to pace the winners. Robinson Opong netted 15, Deng Geu (203-PF-97, college: N.Texas) scored 14 and Arthur Kaluma made 5-of-12 field goal attempts to finish with 12 points, five rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal. D.J. Strawberry (196-SG-85, college: Maryland) replied with 17 points in a loss and Kenny Kadji (211-F-88, college: Miami, FL, agency: Slash Sports) delivered 11.
