Egypt - Tunisia 81:87

The defending champions Tunisia outscored Egypt to top Group B at the AfroBasket 2021. Tunisia posted an 87-81 win for a 2-0 record on top.
Egypt erupted with a 27-10 surge in the opening period, however could not match the opponents in the rest of the game. Tunisia replied with a 28-18 run in the second period and nailed 30 points in the third quarter. Moreover they closed the game with a final 19-15 run.
Michael Roll (198-G-87, college: UCLA) top-scored for the winners with 25 points and Salah Mejri (217-C-86) netted 17. Omar Abada (189-PG-93) produced 14, whilst Makram Ben Romdhane (205-PF-89) had 12. Ehab Saleh ended up with 17 points in a loss and Amr Abdelhalim (192-G-91) scored 14.
