Tunisia rout Guinea in the opener of the AfroBasket 2021. Dirk Bauermann's team won 82-46 to prove their ambitions in the tournament.
Tunisia opened the game with a 17-9 run and never looked behind after. They added a 24-11 run to take a 41-20 halftime advantage. Moreover Tunisia won the third and the last stanzas for the final success.
Salah Mejri (217-C-86) top-scored for the winners with 17 points and Michael Roll (198-G-87, college: UCLA) had 14. Omar Abada (189-PG-93) produced 10, whilst Mourad El Mabrouk (194-SG-86) had 9. Cheick Sekou Conde (203-F-92, agency: BIG) replied with 9 points in the losing effort.
