Morocco - Uganda 65:77

Uganda qualifies to the third straight FIBA AfroBasket beating Morocco 77-65. Uganda grabbed a 20-10 lead at the start, while Morocco caught them up with a 21-12 run in the second period. In the second half Uganda took full control and managed to seal the win.
Teenage sensation Arthur Kaluma (201-F) put up a man-of-the-match performance. The 19-year old scored a game-high 20 points, picked 5 rebounds and made 2 steals. Eric Rwahwire (196-G-96, college: Toronto) posted 14 and Ishmail Wainright (196-G/F-94, college: Baylor) had 11. Reda Ali Harras, Abdelhakim Zouita (200-F-86) and Soufiane Kourdou (211-C-85) each scored 13 in a loss.
