Bottom-ranked Falcons (0-10) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their tenth consecutive match to tenth ranked Tropical R. (5-6) 83-73 on Sunday evening. Tropical R. outrebounded Falcons 62-43 including 26 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Juma Osman stepped up and scored 21 points for the winners and Charles Ochero chipped in 8 points and 15 rebounds. Tropical R.'s coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Jurua Vinnie with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Tropical R. moved-up to ninth place. Falcons at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost. Tropical R. are looking forward to face higher ranked Blazers (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Falcons will play against Victoria USY (#12) and hope to get finally their first victory.

KIU Titans moved-up to seventh place, which they share with JKL Dolphins. Falcons at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost. Ndejje Angels were defeated at home 70-77 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. The best player for the winners was Mabor Makol who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was David Mayom who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 18 rebounds. Ndejje Angels' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. JKL Dolphins (5-5) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with KIU Titans. Ndejje Angels lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with six games lost. JKL Dolphins' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kampala to the arena UCU Canons.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 9: UPDF won against Victoria USY on the opponent's court 61-54. KCCA P. managed to outperform Our Saviour in a home game 74-61. Our Saviour recorded a loss to Betway Power on the road 81-66.



Victoria USY - UPDF 54-61

Very expected game when 12th ranked Victoria USY (1-10) was defeated at home by sixth ranked UPDF (6-5) 61-54 on Sunday. UPDF forced 27 Victoria USY turnovers. The best player for the winners was forward Ferdinand Odama (-1995) who scored 18 points. Swingman David Okello (-1997) chipped in 12 points. UPDF's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was Ronald Ayume who recorded 23 points and Nyong Marrier added 6 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. UPDF moved-up to fifth place, which they share with KCCA P. Victoria USY lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with ten games lost. Rather predictable result when sixth ranked KCCA P. (6-5) defeated at home 9th ranked Our Saviour (4-5) 74-61 on Sunday. KCCA P. looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was center Rin Tueny Mabor (-1996) who scored 16 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Kenyan forward Martin Ouma (195-1999) chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds. Four KCCA P. players scored in double figures. KCCA P.'s coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Moses Mugisha (-1984) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds and forward Elton Bakara (-1996) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively. KCCA P. have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with UPDF. Our Saviour lost third consecutive game.
