Regular Season Round 8: Tropical R. - Falcons 83-73

Bottom-ranked Falcons (0-10) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their tenth consecutive match to tenth ranked Tropical R. (5-6) 83-73 on Sunday evening. Tropical R. outrebounded Falcons 62-43 including 26 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Juma Osman stepped up and scored 21 points for the winners and Charles Ochero chipped in 8 points and 15 rebounds. Tropical R.'s coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Jurua Vinnie with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists and the former international power forward Brian Ssentongo (203-1987) scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. Tropical R. moved-up to ninth place. Falcons at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost. Tropical R. are looking forward to face higher ranked Blazers (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Falcons will play against Victoria USY (#12) and hope to get finally their first victory.
