Very expected game when 12th ranked Victoria USY (1-10) was defeated at home by sixth ranked UPDF (6-5) 61-54 on Sunday. UPDF forced 27 Victoria USY turnovers. The best player for the winners was forward Ferdinand Odama (-1995) who scored 18 points. Swingman David Okello (-1997) chipped in 12 points. UPDF's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was Ronald Ayume who recorded 23 points and Nyong Marrier added 6 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. UPDF moved-up to fifth place, which they share with KCCA P. Victoria USY lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with ten games lost. UPDF's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kampala to the arena Ndejje Angels.
