Our Saviour - Betway Power 68-55 An interesting game took place in Kampala where 4th placed Betway Power (15-9) was upset on the court of tenth ranked Our Saviour (11-13) 68-55. Our Saviour dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Betway Power's 32. Our Saviour forced 20 Betway Power turnovers and outrebounded them 50-36 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Power forward Moses Mugisha (-1984) nailed a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and the former international center Sam Gombya (213-1989) accounted for 4 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Innocent Ochera (-1997) came up with 15 points and 4 steals and the former international forward Geoffrey Soro (198-1992) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Betway Power in the defeat. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Ndejje Angels made 7 blocks. Visitors were defeated by seventh ranked JKL Dolphins (12-12) 73-65. It ended at the same time the 14-game winning streak of Blazers. 27 personal fouls committed by Blazers helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Mabor Makol stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds for the winners and Malual Dier chipped in 19 points and 10 rebounds. Four JKL Dolphins players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Kenyan forward Okall Koranga (206-1990) with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and forward Richard Ongom scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. The best player for the winners was Tanzanian forward Chuma Fadhili (-1995) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists. Fayed Baale (-2001) chipped in 19 points and 4 assists. Five UCU Canons players scored in double figures. UCU Canons' coach felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest.
