Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kigali: REG (#1) and Kepler (#2). Kepler was smashed at home by 24 points 43-67 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. REG forced 28 Kepler turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Kepler's players. Paul Akon orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. The former international point guard Rosine Micomyiza (162-1995) contributed with 15 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Beninese center Veronica Keita (190-2001) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 16 rebounds and 5 blocks for Kepler. Kepler's coach Rene Sahabu gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Undefeated REG (16-0) have an impressive 12-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 16 victories in a row. Newly promoted Kepler dropped to the third place with three games lost.
Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Kigali: The Hoops (#6) and EA Univ (#7). EA Univ was smashed at home by 38 points 38-76 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Mali Kadiatou Coulibaly (-1990) had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Feza Ebengo chipped in 10 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Yvonne Muhawenimana (-2006) responded with 11 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The Hoops have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with RP-IPRC Huye. EA Univ lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with nine games lost.
Another interesting game was again a derby match of two local teams from Kigali: APR (#3) and Kepler (#2). APR (14-2) won against visiting Kepler (13-3) 79-73. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Kamba Diakite notched 37 points (!!!) to lead the effort. Even a double-double of 19 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists by Josiane Tcheumeleu did not help to save the game for Kepler. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. APR have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Newly promoted Kepler dropped to the third position with three games lost.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 14: Azomco beat GSMRR on the road 71-62. REG destroyed RP-IPRC Huye on its own court 107-51. Gahini was outscored by Azomco in Kigali 80-61. The Hoops rolled over UR Kigali at home 123-25.
