Senegal - South Sudan 65-66

Delicia Washington (178-G-1997, college: Clemson) has paced debutant South Sudan to bronze medals. She scored 22 points as her team shocked Senegal 66-65 to step onto pedestal.
South Sudan erupted with a 26-10 surge at the start and managed to win by one point. Nyamer Diew (188-F-2001) made a free throw at the end of the game for the final success.
Adut Bulgak (193-C/F-1992, college: FSU) and Maria Gakdeng (190-F/C-2003) scored 14 points each in a win. Nene Ndiaye (185-F-2004) and Cierra Dillard (176-G-1996, college: Buffalo, agency: LBM Management) posted 16 points each in the losing effort.
