Algeria secured a 34:28 halftime advantage. Algeria dropped 24 points in the third term to open a comfortable 14-point advantage before the fourth frame. They did not loosen the grasp in the final period and sealed the winning outcome. Rachida Belaidi (79) chipped in 12 points, while Ikbal Chenaf added 10 points in the win. Nigeria surprised the opponents with an 18-13 lead, but Mozambique looked better in the second frame. They were the favorites of the game and proved it with a 24-10 surge. Nigeria however was too far to give up and won two quarters in the second half. They posted an 18-17 rally in the third period and finished the game with a 28-23 run. It was not however to win the game as Mozambique escaped with a 77:74 win.

Mali - Senegal 44-67 Senegal complete the Semifinal picture of the 2013 AfroBasket. They edged Mali 67:44 in the last Quarterfinal game and advanced to the Top Four.
Mali grabbed 14-12 lead, but could not match the opponents in the rest of the game. Senegal erupted with a 20-7 run in the second period and took 32:21 lead at the halftime. Moreover the latter added 17-6 surge in the third period and enjoyed a 22-point deficit. Senegal added 18-17 run in the last stanza for the final victory.

They pushed the tempo in the second half and managed to win both quarters. Kenya needed a 20-14 for 6-point advantage after three quarters and finished the game with a 18-15 run.
