Mozambique rolled over Guinea on the way to the Quarterfinals at the AfroBasket 2025. They demolished the opponents with a massive 91-38 win on Wednesday.
Mozambique won the opening period 27-9 and enjoyed a 50-20 halftime advantage. Moreover, Mozambique posted two more tremendous wins in the second half for the final success.
Leia Dongue (185-F/C-1991) led the way with 17 points and Chanaya Pinto (185-F-2000, college: Penn State) had 15. Masseny Kaba (191-F-1998, college: UCF) ended up with 11 points in the losing effort.
