Guinea - Cameroon 50:70

Cameroon have won Group B of the AfroBasket 2023. They overcame Guinea 70-50 at the start of Day 3 in Kigali. Both Cameroon and Guinea won the periods in the first half, while Cameroon took control with an 18-4 surge in the third quarter. Moreover, they added a final 14-10 run to seal the win.
Monique Akoa (180-G-2001) top-scored for the winners with 19 points and Hermine Ngueko Guotue (193-C-1992, agency: Areus Sports) had 16. Marina Ewodo (188-F-1998, college: UC Riverside) followed them with 14 points in a win. Fatoumata Jallow (170-G-1997, college: Bryant) replied with 17 points in a loss and Masseny Kaba (191-F-1998, college: UCF) had 15.
