Ivory Coast advanced to 2023 FIBA Women's AfroBasket as they won the second game against Guinea 98-46. Ivory Coast won the opening period 14-11 and nailed massive 30 points in the second frame. The last stanza was decisive in the game as Ivory Coast ended up with a 28-3 surge to seal the ticket to the 023 FIBA Women's AfroBasket.
Solange Bognini (178-F-1997) top-scored for the winners with 18 points and Djefarima Diawara (180-F-1994) produced 14. N'Bionewe Sieza collected with 13 points and 12 rebounds, whilst Alima Doumbia had 10. Masseny Kaba (191-F-1998, college: UCF) replied with 19 points in the losing effort.
