Egypt - Uganda 74:65

Egypt qualified for 2023 Women's AfroBasket as they overcame Uganda 74-65. They join already qualified Nigeria, Senegal, Mali, Cameroon, and host Rwanda for the July festival to be held in Kigali. Egypt posted two similar 20-19 rallies in the first half and then won the third quarter 19-15. Moreover, they triumphed with a final 15-12 run to seal the trophy.
Raneem Elgedawy (193-F-1997, college: WKU) top-scored for the winners with 19 points and 12 rebounds, whilst Radwa Sherif (184-PF-1998) netted 16. Brenda Ekone (152-G-1996) replied with 25 points in a loss and Jannon Otto (183-G-1997, college: UC Riverside) had 14.
