Uganda - Rwanda 78:70

Uganda reached the Final in Kampala at the 2023 AfroBasket Qualifiers. They overcame Rwanda 78:70 to finish Group Stage with a 3-1 record. Both teams exchanged the wins in the first half, that gave the home side an 8-point halftime advantage. Both teams scored 17 points each in the third quarter and then 20 points in the last stanza for the final result.
Brenda Ekone (152-G-1996) and Jannon Otto (183-G-1997, college: UC Riverside) top-scored for the winners with 22 points each, whilst Hope Akello (183-F/C-1997) netted 15. Assouma Uwizeye (C-1996) replied with 19 points and 11 rebounds in a loss and Marie Imanizabayo (PG-1996) had 15.
