Sommet was defeated at home 44-59 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Mark Ngobi fired 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Peter Cheng produced 8 points and 11 rebounds for lost side. Victoria Crocs (7-9) moved-up to seventh place. Loser Sommet keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. In the last two games of round 25 Blazers destroyed JKL Dolphins on the opponent's court 93-47. UMU managed to outperform UPDF in a home game 76-72.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 8 points and 12 rebounds by Cedric Alema of Victoria Crocs.




JKL Dolphins - Blazers 47-93

Very expected game in Kampala where 9th ranked JKL Dolphins (5-11) were crushed by second ranked Blazers (13-1) 93-47 on Saturday. Blazers dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to JKL Dolphins' 24. Blazers forced 19 JKL Dolphins turnovers and outrebounded them 54-22 including a 20-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Blazers looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by JKL Dolphins' players. The former international guard Peter Obleng (190-2003) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Moses Mugisha (-1984) chipped in 8 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Agok Ichut produced 10 points and 5 rebounds and Sentamu Hasan added 9 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Blazers have an impressive series of thirteen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains second place with 13-1 record behind leader City Oilers. Loser JKL Dolphins keep the ninth position with 11 games lost. UMU - UPDF 76-72

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Kampala where eleventh ranked UMU (4-11) defeated 10th ranked UPDF (3-11) 76-72 on Saturday. UMU made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 UPDF turnovers. Strangely UPDF outrebounded UMU 51-39 including 16 on the offensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when UMU made 7 blocks. Wankoak Gatwech Koang fired 21 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Joshua Duallo (-1998) chipped in 9 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Okoth Henry produced 15 points and Moris Okello added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side.
