We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Kampala where eleventh rankedUMU (4-11) defeated 10th ranked UPDF (3-11) 76-72 on Saturday. UMU made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 UPDF turnovers. Strangely UPDF outrebounded UMU 51-39 including 16 on the offensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when UMU made 7 blocks. Wankoak Gatwech Koang fired 21 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Joshua Duallo (-1998) chipped in 9 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Okoth Henry produced 15 points and Moris Okello added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. UMU moved-up to tenth place. UPDF lost third consecutive game. UPDF at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the eleventh position with 11 games lost.
