They held Our Saviour to an opponent 21.8 percent shooting from the field compared to 35.8 percent accuracy of the winners. Forward Edrine Walujjo (193-2000) orchestrated the victory by scoring 2 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Arthur Wanyoto contributed with 11 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Moses Mugisha (-1984) replied with 19 points and 8 rebounds for Our Saviour. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. UPDF will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Betway Power's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Chuma Joseph responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Betway Power will play against KCCA P. in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Our Saviour managed to escape with a 2-point win 61-59 in the game for the fifth place. Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Even 14 points and 8 rebounds by Amisi Saidi did not help to save the game for Blazers. There were no big surprises in other games of round 2: KCCA P. were smashed by City Oilers on the road 80-46. UCU Canons destroyed Tropical R. on its own court 80-36. JKL Dolphins managed to outperform Victoria USY in Kampala 64-54. Winless Tropical R. lost to undefeated UPDF at home 54-67. Winless Falcons lost to undefeated Ndejje Angels on the opponent's court 62-65.
The most impressive performance of 2nd round was 22 points and 12 rebounds by Wafula Bossa of Falcons.

No shocking result in a game when City Oilers crushed KCCA P. in Kampala 80-46 on Saturday. City Oilers forced 20 KCCA P. turnovers and outrebounded them 44-31 including 34 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by KCCA P.'s players. International Tony Drileba (193-1993) notched a double-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the effort and Enabu Jimmy supported him with 18 points and 7 assists. City Oilers' coach felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 17 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) by power forward Daniel Ojoro (-1994) did not help to save the game for KCCA P.. Forward Emmanuel Odongkara (-1989) added 10 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. City Oilers will meet Victoria USY in the next round where they are favorite. KCCA P. will play against Betway Power and hope to win that game.

UCU Canons forced 21 Tropical R. turnovers and outrebounded them 55-42 including 42 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The former international point guard Fayed Bbale (165-2001) notched 16 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and Tanzanian forward Chuma Fadhili (-1995) supported him with 7 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 5 points and 8 rebounds by Charles Ochero did not help to save the game for Tropical R.. Highman Ssemakula added 6 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
