The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kampala: Lady Jaguars (#1) and KIU Rangers (#8). KIU Rangers were crushed at home by 26 points 40-66 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Lady Jaguars forced 28 KIU Rangers turnovers. Forward Mercy Batamuliza orchestrated the victory with a triple-double by scoring 16 points and 17 rebounds. The former international forward Sarah Ageno (176-1996) contributed with 12 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 steals for the winners. The former international forward Sharon Nangobi (170-1996) answered with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks for KIU Rangers. KIU Rangers' coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Lady Jaguars (20-2) have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place. KIU Rangers lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 13 games lost. Lady Jaguars' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala Nabisunsa.
Another exciting game was again a derby between two teams from Kampala: Tomahawks (#7) and KCCA Leopards (#3). Tomahawks (10-10) won against visiting KCCA Leopards (14-4) 48-44. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of KCCA Leopards. Ruth Letaru (-1997) stepped up and scored 8 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and Maria Awidi chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds. Margaret Bagaala responded with 7 points and 13 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. The victory was the third consecutive win for Tomahawks. They maintain seventh place with 10-10 record. KCCA Leopards at the other side keep the third position with four games lost. Tomahawks' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala .

Angels were defeated at home 50-58 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Mpoza Abigail nailed 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Melissa Nantambi came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds for Angels in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nabisunsa maintains eleventh place with 4-16 record. Angels lost their tenth game in a row. They stay dead last with 20 lost games. Nabisunsa's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kampala to the arena Lady Dolphins.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 29: She Crocs were beaten by Peal Queens on the road 48-41. Nabisunsa lost to Miracle on its own court 70-77. She Crocs unfortunately lost to Magic S. in Kampala 48-59.
The most impressive performance of 29th round was 14 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists by Daphine Adong of Magic S..

Angels - Nabisunsa 50-58

Peal Queens held She Crocs to an opponent 14.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 25.4 percent accuracy of the winners. Peal Queens forced 21 She Crocs turnovers. The former international Agatha Kamwada (170-2000) nailed 5 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and Nigerian Iriele Jane Chisom (-2000) accounted for 6 points and 9 rebounds. Francine Tshimanga came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 16 rebounds and 4 blocks and forward Thelma Toskin (-2002) added 3 points and 10 rebounds respectively for She Crocs in the defeat. The game between closely ranked teams ended with 11th ranked Nabisunsa's (4-16) home loss to tenth ranked Miracle (6-13) in Kampala 70-77 on Saturday. Miracle dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Nabisunsa's 28. They outrebounded Nabisunsa 56-43 including a 36-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Miracle looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Guard Akello Winnifred (-2001) nailed a double-double by scoring 29 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and Koul Khor Lina accounted for 8 points and 18 rebounds. Mpoza Abigail (-2007) came up with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Martha Yikiru added 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Nabisunsa in the defeat.
