The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kampala: KCCA Leopards (#3) and Magic S. (#6). Magic S. was defeated at home 60-65 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Magic S.. KCCA Leopards forced 19 Magic S. turnovers and outrebounded them 47-36 including a 37-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. KCCA Leopards looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The former international guard Tracy Namugosa (170-2000) fired 28 points and 5 assists for the winners. Margaret Bagaala chipped in 12 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Forward Daphine Adong produced 16 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals for lost side. KCCA Leopards (11-3) have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain third position having just three points less than leader Lady Jaguars. Magic S. at the other side keeps the sixth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Tomahawks. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted She Crocs maintains ninth position with 5-9 record. Angels lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost. She Crocs will meet at home higher ranked KIU Rangers (#8) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
