NBL Round 10 (Regular Season): Winless UPDF lose another game

Bottom-ranked UPDF (0-5) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to seventh ranked Sommet (3-2) 73-62 on Sunday evening. Sommet forced 28 UPDF turnovers. Forward Peter Cheng had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Joseph Chuma (-1991) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Bang Desmasiro responded with 9 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sommet moved-up to fourth place, which they share with KCCA P. Newly promoted UPDF still closes the standings with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
