Bottom-rankedUPDF (0-5) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to seventh ranked Sommet (3-2) 73-62 on Sunday evening. Sommet forced 28 UPDF turnovers. Forward Peter Cheng had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Joseph Chuma (-1991) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four Sommet players scored in double figures. At the losing side Bang Desmasiro responded with 9 points and 6 rebounds and Amos Mugisha (-2007) scored 13 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sommet moved-up to fourth place, which they share with KCCA P. Newly promoted UPDF still closes the standings with five games lost.
