The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kampala: JTL Jaguars (#1) and Miracle (#4). Miracle was smashed at home by 28 points 51-79 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. JTL Jaguars held Miracle to an opponent 23.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 36.0 percent accuracy of the winners. JTL Jaguars looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Miracle's players. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Sarah Ageno (176-1996) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 16 rebounds. Forward Mercy Batamuliza chipped in 10 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Akello Winnifred (-2001) produced 27 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts. Miracle's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. JTL Jaguars maintains first position with 6-1 record. Miracle at the other side keeps the fourth place with four games lost.

Angella Lokwameri orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Evelyn Nakiyinji contributed with 13 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Guard Akello Winnifred (-2001) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for Miracle. JKL Dolphins have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 5-1 record behind leader JTL Jaguars. Miracle at the other side keeps the fourth place with four games lost.
Bottom-ranked Nkumba LM (0-9) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 62-54 loss to eighth ranked Magic S. (3-2) in Kampala on Sunday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of Christine Nakito who helped to win the game recording 7 points and 19 rebounds. Shalom Muwanguzi responded with 10 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Magic S. moved-up to sixth place, which they share with KIU Rangers. Newly promoted Nkumba LM still closes the standings with nine games lost.
In the last game of round 8 Lady Tomahawks crushed Nabisunsa in Kampala 90-58.
