The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kampala: Jaguars (#3) and KCCA P. (#2). Jaguars (6-2) won against visiting KCCA P. (5-2) 83-70. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Jaguars dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to KCCA P.'s 16. Jaguars forced 19 KCCA P. turnovers and outrebounded them 56-37 including 20 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was center Peter Sifuma (-1996) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 22 rebounds. Forward Kevin Moru chipped in 27 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Davis Assimwe who recorded 29 points. KCCA P.'s coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Jaguars have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. KCCA P. at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. Bottom-ranked KIU Titans (0-6) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 84-59 loss to fifth ranked Rezlife S. (5-4) in Kampala. It was a good game for Leonardo Gilabi who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Francis Kasinde contributed with 11 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Rezlife S.'s coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Daniel Odonkyero answered with 22 points and 8 rebounds for KIU Titans. Rezlife S. moved-up to fourth place. KIU Titans at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. Rezlife S.'s supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala Jaguars.

Livingstone - UCU Canons 60-74

There was no surprise in Kampala where 11th ranked Livingstone (1-8) was defeated by seventh ranked UCU Canons (4-3) 74-60 on Wednesday. UCU Canons forced 25 Livingstone turnovers. Marvin Okurut stepped up and scored 21 points for the winners and Jonathan Kasilimbi chipped in 10 points. The best for the losing side was Diopa Lukusa with 11 points and 8 rebounds and Micheal Kuol scored 4 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. UCU Canons have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Victoria C. Livingstone lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with eight games lost.
