We should mention about the upset which took place in Kampala, where higher rankedVictoria C. (4-3) lost at home to tenth ranked Sommet (2-4) 60-67 on Wednesday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Victoria C.. Sommet forced 23 Victoria C. turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Sommet made 7 blocks. John Teko stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks for the winners and Andrew Sendaula chipped in 8 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists and 6 steals. The best for the losing side was Erick Komagum with 6 points and 16 rebounds and Ronald Ayume scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sommet moved-up to ninth place. Victoria C. at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fifth position with three games lost. They share it with UCU Canons.
