Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

Bottom-ranked Kampala Uni (0-10) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 97-42 loss to fourth ranked KIU Rangers (8-1) in Kampala on Sunday evening. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. KIU Rangers well out of reach of Kampala Uni shooting 70.4 percent from the field. They also forced 22 Kampala Uni turnovers and outrebounded them 23-7 including a 16-5 advantage in defensive rebounds. KIU Rangers shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 81.3 percentage. The best player for the winners was guard Ines Kanyamunza who scored 21 points (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). Mary Amaniyo (180-2003) chipped in 20 points (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). At the other side the best for losing team was Victoria Nalwanga who recorded 15 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. KIU Rangers have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Kampala Uni at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Kampala: KIU Rangers (#4) and Nabisunsa (#11). Nabisunsa was smashed at home by 28 points 35-63 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It was a good game for guard Ines Kanyamunza who led her team to a victory with 24 points and 6 rebounds. Sharon Kirabo contributed with 9 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Mpoza Abigail replied with 14 points and 5 rebounds for Nabisunsa. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. KIU Rangers (8-1) have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Nabisunsa lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with nine games lost.
