Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Kampala:KIU Rangers (#4) and Nabisunsa (#11). Nabisunsa was smashed at home by 28 points 35-63 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. KIU Rangers forced 42 Nabisunsa turnovers and outrebounded them 48-37 including a 28-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by guard Ines Kanyamunza who scored that evening 24 points and 6 rebounds and forward Sharon Kirabo (170-1996) supported her with 9 points and 13 rebounds. Even 14 points and 5 rebounds by Mpoza Abigail did not help to save the game for Nabisunsa . Guard Sarah Namale (-2005) added 4 points and 14 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. KIU Rangers (8-1) have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Nabisunsa lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with ten games lost.
