Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked KCCA Leopards (9-2) in Kampala on Friday night. Hosts were edged by leader JKL Dolphins (7-0) 83-81. JKL Dolphins forced 20 KCCA Leopards turnovers. It was a great evening for the former international power forward Hope Akello (183-1997) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Brenda Ekone (152-1996) helped adding 22 points. Guard Perus Nyamwenge responded with 27 points. Undefeated JKL Dolphins have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Defending champion moved-up to third place. KCCA Leopards at the other side still keep top position with two games lost.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Kampala: UCU Ladies (#2) and Miracle (#2). UCU Ladies (8-2) crushed visiting Miracle (7-4) by 17 points 67-50. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Miracle. It was an exceptional evening for the former international Bridget Aber (-2001) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds. Hajara Najjuko accounted for 18 points and 7 rebounds. UCU Ladies' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Lilian Cherotich came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks for Miracle in the defeat. The victory was the third consecutive win for UCU Ladies. They maintain second place with 8-2 record behind leader KCCA Leopards. Miracle at the other side dropped to the fourth position with four games lost.
9th ranked A1 Challenge (2-8) was outscored at home by second ranked UCU Ladies (8-2) with the biggest margin this round 65-42 on Friday night. The best player for the winners was Shillah Lamunu who scored 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Stella Kiberenge produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 18 rebounds for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for UCU Ladies. They maintain second place with 8-2 record behind leader KCCA Leopards. A1 Challenge lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with eight games lost. They share it with YMCA Hamstars.
