The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kampala: City Oilers (#1) and Ndejje Angels (#7). Sudanese center Titus Lual (201-1998) contributed with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Christian Ndibu answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 21 rebounds for Ndejje Angels. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Undefeated City Oilers (5-0) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with a perfect record of 5 victories in a row. Ndejje Angels at the other side keep the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with Livingstone and KCCA P.. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of KIU Titans. The former international James Okello (193-1990) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and Ivan Muhwezi chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. Edgar Munaba responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for City Oilers. Defending champion maintains first place with 5-0 record. KIU Titans at the other side keep the sixth position with two games lost. City Oilers will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. KIU Titans' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kampala to the arena Power.
Kampala R.'s fans can celebrate the first win of their team after four consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat JKL Dolphins (1-4) 74-66 on Saturday. Puati Kikomba nailed a double-double by scoring 16 points, 20 rebounds and 9 blocks for the winning side. Arthur Wanyoto came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 19 rebounds for JKL Dolphins in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kampala R. left bottom position moving up to eleventh place, which they share with defeated JKL Dolphins. It was JKL Dolphins' fourth loss in a row. There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked Livingstone (2-3) edged 4th placed Our Saviour (3-3) in Kampala 63-61 on Friday. Diopa Lukusa nailed a double-double by scoring 16 points and 18 rebounds for the winning side and Bismarck Okot accounted for 13 points and 8 rebounds. Power forward Moses Mugisha (-1984) came up with 13 points and 7 rebounds and Trevor Mutyaba added 13 points respectively for Our Saviour in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Livingstone moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Ndejje Angels and KCCA P. Our Saviour lost their third game in a row. They keep the fourth position with three games lost. Livingstone will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
