Kampala R. 's fans can celebrate the first win of their team after four consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat JKL Dolphins (1-4) 74-66 on Saturday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Kampala R. made 10 blocks. Puati Kikomba nailed a double-double by scoring 16 points, 20 rebounds and 9 blocks for the winning side and John Dombo accounted for 5 points and 12 rebounds. Arthur Wanyoto came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 19 rebounds and Austin Odiwuor added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively for JKL Dolphins in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kampala R. left bottom position moving up to eleventh place, which they share with defeated JKL Dolphins. It was JKL Dolphins ' fourth loss in a row.
