Rezlife S. - Ndejje Angels 90-88 Rezlife S. can celebrate their first win this season after three consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as they edged much higher ranked Ndejje Angels (2-3) 90-88 on Wednesday. Rezlife S. forced 23 Ndejje Angels turnovers and outrebounded them 60-31 including a 22-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. Emmanuel Okot stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 19 rebounds for the winners and Thok Timothy chipped in 23 points and 12 rebounds. Power forward Cikom Monybai responded with 16 points and 8 rebounds and Joseph Kumbai scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Rezlife S. (1-3) left bottom position moving up to ninth place, which they share with KCCA P. Denis Omara stepped up and scored 24 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winners and point guard Bienfait Minani chipped in 13 points and 7 assists. Blazers dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to Power's 20. Blazers forced 26 Power turnovers and outrebounded them 54-42 including a 36-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Peter Cheng who had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 steals. The former international forward Geoffrey Soro (198-1992) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Power forward Isaac Afidra (-1985) produced 17 points and 6 rebounds and forward Samad Imran (-1993) added 10 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Four Power players scored in double figures. Blazers moved-up to second place, which they share with KIU Titans. Power at the other side keeps the fourth position with two games lost. City Oilers (7-0) crushed visiting UCU Canons (1-2) by 23 points 87-64. Sudanese center Titus Lual orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds. Swingman Ruai Luak (196-2004) contributed with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Rogers Dauna (196-2000) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 19 rebounds and center Peter Sifuma (-1996) added 13 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for UCU Canons. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. City Oilers have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 7-0 record. UCU Canons at the other side keep the sixth position with two games lost.
