Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

Al Ahly (12-1) recorded its first loss on the court of second ranked Alexandria on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by Alexandria 84-81. It ended at the same time the 12-game winning streak of Al Ahly. Alexandria looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Hagar Amer (184-1993) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds. The former international forward Hala El-Shaarawy (185-1993, college: St.Peter's) chipped in 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international guard Nadine Soliman (178-1998, college: UNCG) who recorded a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds. Alexandria (13-1) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain second place behind leader NBEC. Defending champion Al Ahly keeps the third position with one game lost.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Cairo: NBEC (#1) and Al Zohour (#4). Al Zohour was crushed at home by 21 points 74-95 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Al Zohour. It was a good game for forward Huda Alaa (180) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Shadw Salem contributed with 17 points for the winners. Laila Khaled answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for Al Zohour. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourteenth consecutive win for NBEC. They maintain first place with 14-0 record. Al Zohour at the other side keeps the fourth position with three games lost.
Undefeated leader NBEC delivered the fourteenth consecutive victory on Wednesday night. This time they beat bottom-ranked New Giza (0-13) 69-59. It was a great evening for Huda Alaa who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 21 rebounds and 6 assists. NBEC's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Ganna Marouf with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks. The victory was the fourteenth consecutive win for NBEC. They maintain first place with 14-0 record. New Giza lost their thirteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 13 games lost.

Other games of round 15 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
winless New Giza was crushed by Somouha in Alexandria 77-46. Shooting beat Al Gezira at home 74-70. Aviation lost to Olympic on the opponent's court 63-76. El Ward unfortunately lost to Nasr in a home game 64-69. Heliopolis recorded a loss to Misr Insurance on the road 56-63. Wadi Degla defeated Al Shams on its own court 57-56. Al Zohour beat Misr Insurance in Cairo 69-66.
The best stats of 15th round was 22 points and 9 rebounds by Farida Youssef of NBEC.

There was no surprise in Alexandria where bottom-ranked New Giza (0-13) was crushed by eighth ranked Somouha (6-8) 77-46 on Saturday. It was a great evening for the former international point guard Reem Awad (170-1993) who led her team to a victory scoring 22 points. The former international guard Joudi Elsayed (182-2009) helped adding 13 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was the former international power forward Ganna Marouf (185-1998) with 20 points and 6 rebounds and Shahd Ashraf scored 6 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Somouha. They maintain eighth place with 6-8 record, which they share with Heliopolis. New Giza lost their thirteenth game in a row. No shocking result in a game in Giza where sixth ranked Shooting (7-7) defeated 10th ranked Al Gezira (5-8) 74-70 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Shooting forced 21 Al Gezira turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for center Malak Elhemaly (181-2008) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Salma Bahgat (164-2002) helped adding 12 points, 8 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals. The best for the losing side was Sara Khaled with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and Sandy Abdellatif (180-2002) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Shooting. They maintain sixth place with 7-7 record. Al Gezira lost their third game in a row. They keep the tenth position with eight games lost. They share it with Wadi Degla.

NBEC players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Al Zohour's players.
