There was a minor upset in Cairo where 9th rankedHeliopolis (6-8) were defeated by twelfth ranked Misr Insurance (5-10) 63-56 on Saturday. It was a great evening for the former international Shaza Abdelhakam (-1992) who led her team to a victory scoring 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. point guard Hala Yassine (170-2003) helped adding 19 points and 5 rebounds. Misr Insurance's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Jana Sayed with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international point guard Yousra Taha (169-1995) scored 7 points and 8 rebounds. Misr Insurance maintains twelfth place with 5-10 record. Loser Heliopolis dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost. They share it with Somouha.
