Angolan Women's Basketball Beat Algeria

The Angolan national senior women's basketball team defeated on Wednesday Algeria by 61-51, at the Gymnasium Makelekele, in the first round match of group B of the African Games, taking place in Congo Brazzaville. The Angolan shooting guard, Ana Claudia Goncalves (180-F-93) was the best scorer of the match with 14 points. Group B is comprised by Cote d'Ivoire, Senegal and Gabon.
