DR Congolese forward Franck Nyembo (200-2006) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 4 steals. Anthony Chukwubuka contributed with 9 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Alier Jongroor replied with 11 points and 7 rebounds for UCU Canons. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Blazers have an impressive five-game winning streak. UMU managed to escape with a 3-point win 73-70 on Wednesday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of Joshua Duallo who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. Ian Lubwama responded with 22 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. UMU moved-up to ninth place, which they share with JKL Dolphins. Loser Jaguars keep the eighth position with 15 games lost.
