The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets. What a coincidence that all visitors won their games. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The game in was quite interesting. Second ranked Lady Canons (16-3) played at the court of 5th ranked Peal Queens (9-9). Lady Canons defeated Peal Queens 61-50 on Wednesday. Lady Canons outrebounded Peal Queens 55-32 including a 19-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Matrina Anyango orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points and 21 rebounds. Sylivia Nakituuka contributed with 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Lady Canons' coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nigerian Iriele Jane Chisom (-2000) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for Peal Queens. Lady Canons have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 16-3 record behind leader Lady Jaguars. Newly promoted Peal Queens dropped to the sixth place with nine games lost. Lady Canons' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala Angels.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Kampala: Magic S. (#6) and Nabisunsa (#11). Nabisunsa was defeated at home 62-67 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Kenyan forward Joy Mupalia scored 7 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Nyachwo Owor chipped in 5 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals during the contest. Martha Yikiru responded with 24 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Magic S. (10-9) moved-up to fifth place. Nabisunsa lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 13 games lost. Magic S.'s supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala Tomahawks.

Angels were defeated at home 47-53 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Cindealla Anena notched 12 points to lead the effort. Even 25 points and 8 rebounds by Joan Namatovu did not help to save the game for Angels. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. KIU Rangers (8-10) moved-up to seventh place. Angels lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost. KIU Rangers' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala Nabisunsa.
