Ekau's 32-point game gives him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

19-year old Edrine Ekau (2006) put on an amazing game in the last round for Rezlife Saints and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 27.
He had the game-high 32 points adding nine rebounds and three assists for Rezlife S. in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Blazers (#1, 16-2) 73-71. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Rezlife S. maintains the 3rd position in Ugandan league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Rezlife S. will need more victories to improve their 13-4 record. In the team's last game Ekau had a remarkable seven three-pointers out of 14 attempts. He just recently signed at Rezlife S., being already a very valuable addition to the team. Ekau has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 17.2ppg. Ekau

Second best performed player last round was Alier Jongroor of UCU Canons Kampala. He is a in his second season at UCU Canons. In the last game Jongroor recorded an impressive double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds. Of course he led UCU Canons to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked JKL Dolphins (#9, 5-13) 77-48. This victory allowed UCU Canons to move up to 4th position in the standings. His team's 11-7 record is not bad at all. Jongroor is well-known at UCU Canons and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Joel Lukoji (PG-2001) of league's second-best City Oilers Kampala. Lukoji showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists (!!!) in the last round. He was a key player of City Oilers, leading his team to a 92-63 easy win against the lower-ranked Kampala R. (#12, 2-15). City Oilers is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 16-2 record is not that bad... Lukoji has a great season in Uganda. After 15 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 5.9apg (best passer). He also has 2.3spg and a FGP of 57.4%.
