Experienced Susan Aanyu (G-1992) had a very impressive game in the last round for KCCA Leopards and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 25.
The 33-year old guard had the game-high 46 points adding eight rebounds and two assists for KCCA Leopards in her team's victory, helping them to outclass Angels (#12, 2-16) with 61-point margin 98-37. KCCA Leopards maintains the 3rd position in Ugandan NBL. They are still close to the very top. KCCA Leopards would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 13-3 record. In the team's last game Aanyu had a remarkable 73.3% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 8 attempts. She has many years of experience at KCCA Leopards, through which she has constantly improved. Aanyu has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (7th best: 12.6ppg).

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young international forward Sarah Ageno (176-F-1996) of league's best team JT Lady Jaguars. Ageno impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 17 points and 18 rebounds. Of course she led Lady Jaguars to another comfortable win 52-37 over the lower-ranked Tomahawks (#7, 7-9) being unquestionably team leader. Of course Lady Jaguars still keep the league's top spot. Her team lost just two games this season, while they won 16 matches. Ageno is one of the most experienced players at Lady Jaguars and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Martha Yikiru of Nabisunsa Girls (#11). Yikiru scored 20 points and grabbed 15 rebounds (!!!). Despite Yikiru's great performance the Nabisunsa lost 58-72 to the higher-ranked KCCA Leopards (#3, 13-3). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. Nabisunsa can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 2-11 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Yikiru has individually a great season in Uganda. After 13 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.7rpg (4th best).
