Forward Tamasha Nsubuga (F) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Just Kip Living Lady Dolphins and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 23.
She had the game-high 19 points adding two rebounds and four assists for Lady Dolphins in her team's victory, helping them to outclass Angels (#12, 2-14) with 33-point margin 81-48. Lady Dolphins maintains the 4th position in Ugandan NBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Lady Dolphins will need more victories to improve their 11-5 record. In the team's last game Nsubuga had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. It's her second year at Lady Dolphins and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Nsubuga has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (2nd best: 16.7ppg) and averages solid 3.0spg and 52.0% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Matrina Anyango of league's second-best UCU Lady Canons. She is a in her first season at Lady Canons. In the last game Anyango recorded an impressive double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds. Of course she led Lady Canons to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked KIU Rangers (#9, 6-10) 79-27. Lady Canons' second position in the standings has not changed. Her team lost just three games this season, while they won 13 matches. Anyango is a newcomer at Lady Canons and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 12.6ppg (#7). She also registered 10.0 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to Rebecca Namatovu of Angels BC (#12). Namatovu scored 17 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). Despite Namatovu's great performance the Angels lost 48-81 to the higher-ranked Lady Dolphins (#4, 11-5). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. Angels can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 2-14 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Namatovu has a very solid season. In 15 games in Uganda she scored 8.3ppg.
